M. Holland announces the hire of Josh Blackmore to expand distribution and create a seamless purchasing experience for medical plastics customers.
Northbrook, IL, August 3, 2017 — M. Holland Company, a leading distributor of thermoplastic resin, announces the hire of Josh Blackmore as the company’s Global Healthcare Manager. Blackmore’s role is to expand M. Holland’s plastics distribution and create a seamless purchasing experience for medical customers.
Blackmore’s hire is part of M. Holland’s strategy to expand targeted services and products for key end markets. Blackmore will join the company’s newly formed Business Development Group and coordinate sales and sourcing strategy efforts to propel M. Holland as the plastics leader within the medical market.

They also want plastics that can pass rigorous regulatory testing and won’t change their formula over time,” explains John Zessin, M. Holland’s Director of New Business Development. “We believe M. Blackmore comes from RTP Company (RTP) where he was the Global Healthcare Manager for more than 11 years. He was responsible for creating and implementing a strategic global plan to establish RTP as a leader in the medical industry, developing and coaching the company’s medical sales team and managing the global project pipeline.

Prior to RTP, Blackmore held positions at Magline, Inc., GE and The Dow Chemical Company. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in medical technology from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business.
