M. Holland Company Announces New Vice President of Operations Julian Wiles

M. Holland appoints Julian Wiles to support its North American business expansion and execute operational best practices globally.

Northbrook, Ill., April 15, 2019 — M. Holland Company, a leading distributor of thermoplastic resins, today announced the appointment of Julian Wiles to the position of vice president of operations. As a member of M. Holland’s Executive Leadership Team, Wiles will execute M. Holland’s vision of global operational excellence, overseeing client experience, supply chain, quality assurance, and order fulfillment activities. Drawing on his many years of experience in operations and logistic transformations, Julian will be responsible for introducing and executing operational best practices globally. Wiles will report directly to CEO Ed Holland.

Wiles joins M. Holland from Bloomberg L.P., a privately held financial, software, data, and media company, where he served as the head of global logistics and was in charge of improving operational efficiency within the organization. Prior, he was the senior director of global logistics for S.C. Johnson, a privately-held manufacturer of household cleaning products. At S.C. Johnson, he held multiple leadership positions in the manufacturing operations division and established operational strategies, led his teams to higher levels of productivity and efficiency, and was involved in the successful implementation of a new ERP system. Before joining S.C. Johnson, Wiles worked with Fortune 500 companies including General Mills and Frito-Lay.

Wiles’ hire is part of a greater update to M. Holland’s organizational structure. Recently, the company announced the promotion of seven company veterans to senior-level executive roles to better support the company’s growth as a leading international distributor. These organizational changes and Wiles’ hire will further position the company to evolve its leadership structure to support its strategic business initiatives and five-year growth plan.

Wiles earned his Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business, Marketing and Logistics from The Ohio State University.
