M. Holland appoints Samantha Stone to Director of Distribution Sales and Tracy Coifman as Business Development Manager, Latin America
Northbrook, IL, March 15, 2018 – M. Holland Company, a leading distributor of thermoplastic resin, announces the promotions of Samantha Stone to Director of Distribution Sales and Tracy Coifman to Business Development Manager, Latin America. Stone’s and Coifman’s respective promotions follow the recent 20 percent growth of M. Holland’s commercial team and the formation of the company’s Business Development Group, which recently launched its own Global Healthcare initiative.

As Director of Distribution Sales, Stone will be responsible for growing sales throughout the U.S. and Canada for the company’s Distribution Division by directing and managing commercial resources, as well as setting strategy and direction for M. Holland’s field sales force. Stone will succeed John Haney, who announced his retirement last fall. She previously served as M. Holland’s Product Manager of Engineering Resins and has over 25 years of experience serving in various industry roles, including product design, R&D, quality assurance, sales, and other leadership positions at a global plastics company.

In his role as Business Development Manager, Latin America, Coifman will work directly with suppliers, clients, and agents to better determine and fulfill their business needs. Coifman will also work alongside M. Holland’s corporate Business Development Group, compromised of six key market teams. Coifman was previously M. Holland’s Puerto Rico Commercial Manager, where he had sales responsibility for the Caribbean, Central America, and parts of South America. Coifman was President of Tril Export Company and Able International when M. Holland acquired the businesses in 2016. Over the course of his career, he has held leadership, operational, and sales roles at several companies, including Rockwell Automation and Chevron.
