Teknor Apex is a compound solutions provider headquartered in Pawtucket, R.I. that provides a broad range of products and technologies. M. Holland’s relationship with Teknor Amex goes back more than 20 years; we have distributed Teknor Apex Chemlon® brand nylon products including reinforced and specially modified compounds of polyamide 6, 6/6, 6/10, and 6/12 to customers for decades.
Today, our exclusive distribution agreement paves the way for M. Holland to work even more closely with Teknor Apex and with our customers to develop highly customized, innovative solutions for specific markets and applications.
Chemlon nylon compounds include glass-reinforced, mineral-filled, impact-modified and flame-retardant grades that have more than 80 approved specifications for consumer and automotive products. Chemlon offers superior strength and break resistance, dimensional stability, impact resistance, warp resistance and surface finish. Compounds can be formulated in a wide range of colors, with precision color matching capabilities.
Chemlon 100 Series
PA6/6 is available in unreinforced/unfilled, impact-modified, glass fiber-reinforced, heat-stabilized, and flame-retardant options.
Chemlon 200 Series
PA6 is available in mineral and glass fiber-reinforced, heat-stabilized, flame-retardant, and impact-modified options.
Chemlon 800 Series
PA6/12 is available in carbon fiber-reinforced, glass fiber-reinforced, and heat-stabilized options.
